South Summit Madrid 2026 · The Pitch

When an emergency hits, every second counts.

This is the story we tell on the Tech Fablab stage — why a reliable, official channel is the missing layer between a city and its citizens, and how UrbanAlert delivers it.

01The problem

Valencia. October 29, 2024.

228 people lost their lives during one of the worst natural disasters in recent European history.

That tragedy reminded us of a simple lesson:

In an emergency, information alone is not enough. A reliable channel is required to deliver it to citizens.

And this is not solely a Spanish challenge. Cities around the world still lack an official, direct and geo-targeted channel to reach their citizens when they need it most.

02The solution

UrbanAlert was created to address that need. We are not just another municipal app.

We are an operational infrastructure that enables cities to activate protocols and deliver alerts and critical information instantly.

Built for any predictable risk

UrbanAlert works before, during and after an emergency

Before

Prepare protocols and warn ahead of a predictable risk.

During

Activate and deliver geo-targeted alerts in real time.

After

Inform recovery and keep citizens updated.

Any predictable risk becomes a coordinated response.

03Traction

Today we are already working with municipalities and industrial districts, with a potential reach of more than

+150,000citizens of potential reach
04AI & differentiation

Our differentiation is not only technological.

Our team brings together more than 30 years of field experience in security, emergency response and operational management.

We are also developing an AI-powered assistant. The operator will simply say:

Activate the wildfire protocol in the northern district.

And the system will execute the full coordinated response.

The future is not about more information. It is about reliable information — and faster decisions.

05Closure

That is why we are looking for forward-thinking Spanish cities and industrial districts ready to build safer and more resilient communities.

We are flipping the relationship between citizens and emergency information.

Citizens no longer search for the information. The information finds them.

That is the future. That is UrbanAlert.

The information should find them.
