The pitch
Our pitch, word for word
Tech Fablab Stage · South Summit Madrid 2026 · Thursday Jun 04 · 12:00
This is the script prepared for the stage. Three minutes on why, in an emergency, information is only useful if it arrives in time.
- 00:00Opening
228 people died in the Valencia DANA. Technology didn't fail — the critical communication infrastructure did.
When an emergency strikes, every second counts. And today, in most cities, information doesn't reach people, or it arrives too late.
- 00:25The problem
Municipal communication is scattered across press, social media and messaging, with no single official source.
The result is noise, rumors and warnings that arrive late — exactly when trust in institutions depends on speed.
- 00:50The demand
Mobile is already the primary information channel. And according to the CIS, 94.3% of Spaniards are in favor of receiving mobile alerts as a precaution against a disaster.
Citizens already expect direct, immediate communication. Cities need permanent digital infrastructure to deliver it.
- 01:20The solution
UrbanAlert is that infrastructure. From a control panel, the municipal operator creates the notice, draws the exact zone on the map and sends the notification.
Geolocated, official and instant: to more than 12,000 devices in seconds, and the citizen receives it with no need to register. From active protocol to delivered message in under 3 minutes.
- 01:55What makes us different
We're not another channel: we're the protocol layer that ES-Alert can't give a city council. We don't replace 112 or ES-Alert, and we don't make operational decisions. We provide the verifiable official channel.
And we go one step further with AI Sentinel: the operator speaks and the system runs the full protocol —zone, message, delivery— with no manual intervention. Built exclusively with Houseof.
- 02:30Traction
This is not a mockup: +150,000 citizens in pipeline across Comunitat Valenciana. La Pobla de Vallbona signed, Alcoi in sandbox.
And our protocols are backed by Local Police Chiefs, Fire and Civil Protection commanders with real operational command.
- 02:55Closing
UrbanAlert's protocols were not designed in a boardroom: they come from the field, from 30 years managing urban emergencies.
A better-informed city is a safer, better-prepared city. Let's talk: 20 minutes is enough to see a real protocol activate in your city.
